the earharts

Some of you joined us in prayer for the Earharts as they waited to hear if the baby girl they were referred to would be taken back by her birth parents. She was, ultimately, and we’re still praying that she’ll know Jesus someday soon.

Just recently, the Earharts were able to travel to Taiwan to pick up the baby they were later referred to — their forever daughter, Ava.

In the past several years, I’ve sat and smiled and cried and laughed at videos similar to this one. And watching this video… with the drive through town and up the Home’s driveway… of course I cried at this one. Listen to the music crescendo as Amy picks up Ava.

Oof, I’m crying again. Our God is so good.

Will you please continue to pray for them as they transition into life as a family of three. And will you please pray for the other families in the process of adopting their babies from the Home?

Just this morning I had the opportunity to tell my co-worker at church about my time in Taiwan. It stirred up a lot of feelings. I’m seeing how those two months must have been the most touching, wonderful, influential time of my life.

  • Thanks for stopping by my blog and leaving a comment! I’ve enjoyed reading through some of your posts 😀 Your photos are awesome as well! Look forward to coming back to read more! Blessings!

Wowza. You’re not the only one crying. . . what a blessed family. Thanks for sharing, Nat!

Natalie, my two year old foster girl just made me play that twice as she sang along, my God is stronger, my God is healer. We have no idea whether or not we will get to keep her. It will be a year next month. Even though she is only two she tells me that God is in her heart and I know that we are building a foundation. She asked me to play it again and I told her we will in a little while. Thank you for your love for the orphans. Keep up the good work.
